Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra | 8 IAS officers among 11 officers directed to visit districts

Jammu, Dec 18: J&K government Monday issued another schedule under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra for eleven officers, including eight Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, directing them to visit the districts, on any day during the second fortnight of December, 2023 and the first and the second fortnights of January, 2024.

This schedule was issued in continuation of Government Order No 1557-JK(GAD) of 2023, December 9, 2023.

As per schedule, Director General, Women & Child Development, J&K Mir Tariq Ali; Commissioner, Food and Drugs Administration, J&K Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather; Transport Commissioner, J&K Rahul Sharma and Mission Director, Mission Dairy Development Narinder Singh Bali will visit Shopian, Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar districts respectively, on any day, during the second fortnight of December, 2023 i.e., December 16 to 31, 2023.

These four senior IAS officers will visit Kupwara, Samba, Jammu and Udhampur districts respectively on any day during the first and second fortnights of January, 2024 i.e., from January 1 to 15 and January 16 to 26, 2024.

Similarly, senior IAS officers Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, Director, Sericulture, J&K and Hashmat Ali Yatoo, Administrator, Associated Hospitals, Srinagar) will visit Bandipora and Anantnag districts respectively on any day during the second fortnight of December, 2023.

They will visit Ganderbal and Bandipora districts respectively, on any day, during the first and second fortnights of January, 2024 i.e., from January 1 to 15 and January 16 to 26, 2024.

Senior IAS officers Majid Khalil Ahmad Drabu, Controller, Legal Metrology, J&K and Sheikh Arshad Ayub, Inspector General of Registration, J&K will visit Pulwama and Anantnag districts respectively on any day during the second fortnight of December, 2023. They will undertake a visit to Shopian and Ganderbal districts respectively on any day during the first and the second fortnights of January, 2024.

Senior Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers Anil Koul, Secretary Housing and Urban Development department; Bhawani Rakwal, Secretary Social Welfare department and Raman Kumar Kesar, Secretary Power Development Department will visit Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban districts respectively, on any day, during the second fortnight of December, 2023.

They will undertake a visit to Jammu, Rajouri and Reasi districts respectively on any day during the first and the second fortnights of January, 2024.

“The Deputy Commissioners shall be responsible for organizing these visits in the districts, in consultation with the concerned officers, well in advance,” directed GAD Commissioner Secretary, Sanjeev Verma.
