Vikramaditya inspects reconstruction of temple in Gulmarg

Gulmarg, Jun 23: Vikramaditya Singh, Ex MLC and Trustee of the J&K Dharmarth Trust, today inspected the ongoing reconstruction work of the iconic Maharani Temple in Gulmarg, which is set to open for devotees and the public next month.

The temple, a revered Hindu shrine and a prominent landmark of Gulmarg, was tragically destroyed by an electrical fire a year ago, a press release said.

“I am proud to share that we have resurrected this historic temple, restoring it to even greater glory than before,” said Vikramaditya Singh during the inspection. The reconstruction has been taken up by the J&K Dharmarth Trust with utmost commitment to preserving its spiritual and architectural significance.

He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Gulmarg Development Authority, and the J&K Police for their unwavering support.
