Vice President Radhakrishnan to visit Seychelles for presidential swearing-In

New Delhi, Oct 24: At the invitation of the Government of Seychelles, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan will visit the island nation from October 26 to 27, 2025, to attend the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Patrick Herminie on behalf of the Government of India.

During the visit, the Vice President will convey India’s warm congratulations to Herminie and reaffirm the close and long-standing friendship between India and Seychelles.

Seychelles is a key partner in India’s Vision MAHASAGAR and an important stakeholder in the country’s engagement with the Global South.

The visit highlights India’s continued commitment to strengthening and expanding its partnership with Seychelles across sectors.
