“There was no movement of vehicles from any side of the road on Thursday and it will remain closed till further notice,” he said.

Executive Engineer Mughal Road Projects, Shokat Ali said, “We are witnessing tough conditions on the road, making it too difficult to allow the movement of vehicles. The main problem is slippery surfaces as well as shooting stones.”

He said that severe inclement weather conditions prevailed in the area. “We can take a call on the restoration of the road for traffic only when the weather improves,” he said.
