Vehicle collapse, nomadic movements slow down traffic along Srinagar-Jammu National Highway
Srinagar, Oct 23: Traffic authorities Wednesday said that the vehicular traffic between Banihal and Ramban remains slow along the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.
This, they said was as a result of several vehicle breakdowns and the movement of nomads who travel from the mountains of Kashmir to the plains of Jammu as the winter approaches.
The authorities advised commuters to follow lane driving while showcasing patience to avoid unnecessary gridlocks.
They also advised people to plan their journey along the highway during the daytime.
Informing about other roads, the authorities said, SSG road, Mughal Road, Bhaderwah-Chamba Road is through for traffic.
