VDC member fires gunshots after observing suspicious movement in Rajouri

Rajouri, Jan 18: A Village Defence Committee (VDC) member fired some warning gunshots after picking a suspicious movement in village Kalal near Line of Control (LoC).

Soon after the incident, security forces have launched a Massive Cordon and Search Operation.

As per officials, a VDC member (name withheld) from Kalal village of Nowshera fired few gunshots in air.

They said teams of army and police rushed to the spot and have cordoned the area conducting searches.

Preliminary, it has come to fore that the VDC member picked some suspicious movement near his house after which he fired gunshots.

Searches were going on when last reports were received.
