VBSY merely a photo-shoot event, total failure: Ajay Sadhotra
Jammu, Jan 4: Additional General Secretary National Conference (NC) and former Minister, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, today said that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) is merely a photography event, being organised by the BJP government to hide its failures.
He said that the people cannot be fooled by holding such events for publicity and therefore this much hyped programme has proved to be a flop show rather total failure.
According to a press release, the senior NC leader expressed was addressing a party’s review meeting of Chenani and Ramnagar Assembly Constituencies of Udhampur Rural District here.
The meeting was presided over by Ram Parshotam Sharma, District President Udhampur Rural. While welcoming the senior leaders of the party, he highlighted multiple problems and issues confronted by the people in the said constituency.
Ajay Sadhotra said that the incumbent government has miserably failed to address people’s issues particularly the educated youth of Jammu and Kashmir because of its anti people policies. “Moreover, these miseries of the people have further multiplied due to the shortage of manpower in administration,” NC leader said. He said that thousands of posts in Government Departments of J&K are lying vacant since long so much so that even the health centres and schools are without adequate staff.
Accusing the administration of being least bothered about filling the vacant posts, Sadhotra said that this stands proved by the existing scenario in Ramnagar and Chenani Assembly Constituencies where the problems of general public have increased manifold today.
Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President, NC, said that BJP as well as the UT Administration have betrayed the people of Jammu and Kashmir especially those of Jammu by promising the moon and delivering nothing on ground. He asserted that Jammu BJP leaders from top to bottom are in utter frustration today as they have no say in the party’s high command and therefore they cannot address the people’s problems.
