Vacations in summer zone schools of Jammu division from June 1

Jammu, May 28: In wake of searing heat wave, the government has announced summer vacation in all the government and recognized private schools falling in the summer zone of Jammu division from June 1 to July 17.

However, the teachers have been asked to remain available for online guidance of students during this period. It has also been cautioned that any default on this account will attract action under rules. “It is hereby ordered that all the government and recognized private schools falling in the summer zone of Jammu division shall observe summer vacation with effect from June 1, 2024 to July 16, 2024. It is further ordered that all teachers shall remain available for any on-line guidance of students during vacation period,” read an order issued by Director School Education, Jammu.

“Any default on part of the Head of the School or reaching staff in observance of this schedule shall attract action under rules,” he cautioned.
