V-Mart implements GST rate cuts across all stores

New Delhi, Sep 22: V-Mart Retail Ltd, one of India’s leading value fashion and lifestyle retailers, has rolled out revised “GST Discounts” across its 525 stores under the government’s “GST Bachat Utsav,” following the recent GST rate reduction by the Government of India.

With GST on key categories such as apparel, FMCG, home essentials and accessories now lowered, V-Mart is passing on the benefits directly to shoppers.

The company has swiftly updated its billing systems to reflect the revised rates on invoices and launched in-store communication to highlight the savings for consumers ahead of the festive season.

These changes have been implemented across all our stores, ensuring reduced GST is reflected in the final prices. Importantly, we have also decided not to raise prices on products where the GST rate has increased. V-Mart noted that families shopping for everyday essentials and festive wear are benefiting from the initiative, helping them manage household budgets without compromising on quality.
