The plan includes beautification and infrastructure upgrades at the Chitragupt Temple in Ballia, Hanuman Temple in Holpur, Udasin Math in Basantpur, and Bhairav Baba and Ram Janaki temples in Azamgarh.
Other sites under the project are Durvasa Ashram in Phulpur Pawai, Veera Baba Brahma Sthan in Mau, and Phoolmati Devi Temple in Kannauj. Memorials related to Saint Paramhans Baba in Azamgarh will also be developed.
With Uttar Pradesh receiving over 65 crore tourists in 2024, the state is leveraging its spiritual heritage to boost tourism.
