Srinagar, Sep 27: Former Minister and ex- MLA Bandipora, Usman Majid on Friday led a  road show in the Bandipora constituency.

According to a press  note, he  addressed  public rallies at Naidkhai, Gund Jehangir, Gund Boon, Shahgund, and Kaniyari areas.

Addressing the public in Naidkhai, Usman Majid expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming response, reaffirming his dedication to working for the welfare of the people of Bandipora. “This road show is not just a political event; it is a symbol of the trust and faith that the people have in my vision for a better future for our district. I will continue to fight for the rights and development of Bandipora,” he  said during the rally.

Majid reiterated his plans to address key issues such as unemployment, infrastructure development, and social welfare programs aimed at improving the lives of the people in the Bandipora constituency. He encouraged his workers to intensify their efforts and strengthen their commitment to ensure a decisive victory in the upcoming elections.

He also committed to rehabilitating Kaniyari village in the Naidkhai block and ensuring a 24-hour drinking water supply in both Bandipora and Naidkhai blocks. He emphasised that under his leadership, both as MLA and later as the Planning Minister, Bandipora has witnessed unprecedented infrastructure development and economic growth. Roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and other vital infrastructure projects have not only been initiated but also completed, laying a strong foundation for a brighter future. The economic landscape has been revitalised, with new opportunities emerging for the people, transforming Bandipora into a beacon of progress in the region, he added.
