Usman Majid files nomination papers from Bandipora

Srinagar, Sep 11: Former Minister and MLA Bandipora, Usman Majid, on Wednesday filed his nomination for the Bandipora Assembly seat.

According to a press note, earlier in the day, Majid paid his respects at the Ziyarat Ahamsharief in Bandipora, accompanied by DDC Firdousa Akhter. Majid expressed his commitment to serving Bandipora with humility and dedication.

A roadshow was also organised that passed through block headquarters and Bandipora market, leading up to the nomination venue. He remarked that the crowd's warm response reflected their trust in his leadership and vision for the development and progress of Bandipora.

During his speech, Majid emphasised the importance of his agenda for change, which focuses on transforming the Bandipora Assembly Constituency through sustainable development and social welfare. "I am the sole guarantee for Bandipora's advancement, and under my leadership, Bandipora will reach new heights of development," Majid confidently said. "I will refurbish the face of the entire Bandipora if elected."
