US President’s call for peace deserves positive response: AIP

Srinagar, Mar 2: Awami Itihaad Party (AIP)  today said that US President Donald Trump’s call for peace and conflict resolutions deserves positive response.

In a statement AIP Chief Spokesperson Inam- Un- Nabi said, “ Wars lead nowhere, except death and destruction, who other than we, the people of Jammu and Kashmir, understand the significance of peace in the region.

However, the peace has to be dignified, durable and based on justice.

United States must seriously persuade all stakeholders in South Asia to establish peace in the region where people of all casts, creed and religion are free to enjoy their rights.”
