UP CM Yogi reviews preparations for UPITS-2025
Greater Noida, Sep 19: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday reviewed preparations for the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS-2025) at the India Expo Mart auditorium in Greater Noida.
He directed police and administrative officials to ensure smooth arrangements, security, and convenience for participants and visitors.
The Chief Minister said the event would present the state’s traditions, skills, and products on a global platform while promoting the “Vocal for Local” and “Make in India” campaigns. He instructed that every district must participate with dedicated One District, One Product (ODOP) stalls to showcase handicrafts, food items, and industrial products before international buyers and investors.
Yogi also announced that a fashion show featuring Khadi, handicrafts, and village industry products would be organised with experts from leading film cities. “This will not only promote our traditional crafts but also open new opportunities for designers, artisans, and youth,” he said. He further directed wide publicity of UPITS-2025 across districts and educational institutions, active involvement of Gautam Buddha University students, and special arrangements for foreign guests, senior citizens, and smooth shuttle services. Ministers Rakesh Sachan and Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi were present at the review meeting.
