The LG said that the cadets played a pivotal role in humanitarian efforts during ‘Operation Sindhoor’.

He said these cadets could be the agents of positive societal transformation and flag-bearers of a strong, inclusive, and united India.

LG Sinha congratulated JUO Abida Afreen and Cadet Mohit Knathia from J&K and Ladakh Directorate for summiting Mount Everest in May 2025.

He also appreciated SCC Ekta Kumari of J&K and Ladakh Directorate for leading the NCC girl's contingent on Kartavya Path during the Republic Day Parade 2025.

During the special integration camp organised at Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar, the NCC cadets enthralled the audience with their mesmerising cultural performances, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of the country.

From Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to Kerala and from Punjab to Maharashtra, the NCC cadets showcased the rich culture through different performances on the stage.

The star attraction of the event was the two young cadets draped in stunning costumes during their performance while presenting the cultural diversity of their region.

The cadets from each NCC Directorate focused on promoting music and dance of their region which kept the audience glued to their seats till the culmination of the event.

The cadets were donning their traditional dresses at the NCC’s cultural festival.

The day was marked with synchronised moves, colourful traditional attires and performances which drew applause from the audience.

The aim of organising such an event was to promote and showcase the cultural diversity of the country.

The event organised by J&K and Ladakh Directorate under the supervision of Major Gen Anupinder Bevli brought together around 340 NCC cadets and Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) from across the country with the objective of fostering national integration, cultural harmony, discipline, and leadership among youth.
