Unidentified body recovered from river Jhelum in Srinagar

Srinagar, June 10: An unidentified body was recovered from river Jhelum in the Maloora area on the outskirts of Srinagar on Monday afternoon.

The body was spotted by some locals in river Jhelum in Maloora area, after which they instantly informed police who reached the spot and took the body in their custody.

The identification of the body is being ascertained, while police have taken cognizance and initiated an investigation. (KS)
