Unidentified body found in central Kashmir’s Budgam

Srinagar, Apr 24: An unidentified body was recovered by police near the new power grid station in Ompora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.

Officials told news agency JKNS that the body was spotted by locals at a shop and is almost decomposed and immediately informed the police. A police team reached the spot and took the body into custody.

Preliminary investigation has been initiated to ascertain the identity and cause of death, they said, adding that further details will be shared once available.
