Farooq Abdullah said that people should ask the political parties who are seeking votes, that who have snatched our assets like Auqaf, who has brought GST and pushed us to miseries,” he said.

National Conference President urged people to remain cautious of the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) when they vote on polling day. "I urge you all to stay cautious and not to leave the polling booth before properly verifying whether the machine is in working condition and whether the light is illuminated on its top. If you do not see any light, ask the polling staff to rectify it. Do not leave the booth until you hear the sound and see the light. We must remain vigilant. The present time is one of tough ordeals,”he said. Dr Farooq Abdullah appealed people to vote for his party's candidate for the Srinagar Lok Sabha seat.
