Ujala Cygnus Hospital organises walkathon

Srinagar, Sep 30: Ujala Cygnus Hospital organised a walkathon to commemorate World Heart Day, promoting heart health awareness and encouraging citizens to adopt healthy lifestyles.

The event commenced at Nehru Park Boulevard and concluded at Partap Park, Lal Chowk.

Dr Pervez Sofi, Director of Ujala Cygnus Hospital, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the District Administration and District Police for their support.

He specifically thanked the DO of Nehru Park and the SHO of Kothibagh for accompanying the walkathon participants.

Dr Sofi also acknowledged the valuable contributions of social activists Nasir Ali Khan, Omar Shafeeq Bhat, Sheeraza Malik, and Nadeem Qadri’s team, who actively participated in the event.

The walkathon was aimed to raise awareness about cardiovascular health and encourage people to prioritise their heart health through regular exercise and healthy habits. Participants from all walks of life joined, demonstrating their commitment to a healthier lifestyle.
