Udhan - Khorbani road continues blocked

Rajouri, Feb 21: Locals of Khawas tehsil of Rajouri district have called for immediate restoration of vital road from Udhan to Khorbani. The road is blocked for last four days.

Locals said that staff of government offices and students are badly affected by the road blockage. They added that the was blocked four days ago after multiple landslides and shooting stones.

Due to road closure, vehicular movement on the road continues suspended. The staff and students of Government Higher Secondary School Udhan are affected with the problem. They have to walk for kilometers to reach the school. They said that the matter was brought into the notice of tehsil administration but no action has been taken yet and road is still blocked.

" We demand immediate restoration of this vital road by removing slide debris," Mohammad Farooq of the area said.
