Two terrorists linked with JKGF arrested in Poonch: Police
Srinagar, Oct 19: The Police on Saturday said it has arrested two hybrid terrorists associated with the J&K Ghaznavi Force (JKGF) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
During the operation, an official said that the security forces recovered three hand grenades and one pistol, preventing potential attacks.
"Hybrid terrorists are individuals who maintain an ordinary appearance but engage in or assist with militant activities, making them challenging to detect," the official said, adding that the operation reflects the relentless efforts of security forces to combat terrorism in the region.
Meanwhile Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu zone Anand Jain while commenting on the arrest of two terrorists in Poonch, saying police have successfully solved cases of grenade attacks in Poonch district.
He termed it a “big success” with regard to containing local recruitment of terrorists.
