Two tenants found dead in rented room in Srinagar's Nowgam

Srinagar, Jan 14: Two tenants were found unconscious inside a rented room in the Nowgam area of Srinagar on Wednesday, triggering concern in the locality.

An official told Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the duo was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital after being found unconscious.

However, doctors at the hospital declared them brought dead.

The cause of death was suspected to be due to suffocation, he said.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of death.
