Two minor siblings die after tin shed catches fire in north Kashmir's Tangmarg
Baramulla, Jan 02:Two minors of a family were charred to death in Ferozpora area of Tangmarg in north Kashmir' Baramulla district on Thursday.
A police official told Greater Kashmir that the shed went into flames and reduced to ashes due to blast of a traditional heater (Bukhari) which was inside the residential shed.
The official said the two siblings- 3-month old sister and 3-year old brother were charred to death due to the blast of the heater inside the shed.
The official said the residential shed belongs to Mohammad Ashraf Dar.
Pall of gloom descend in the area after the charred bodies of the two siblings were found lying inside the tin shed.
According to locals, the mother of the two siblings had went to the market to fetch vegetables for the family who returned home (shed) only to see the shed reduced to ashes and bodies of her two kids lying inside.
The locals reached the spot for rescue operation but the two siblings were already dead.
