Two killed, two critically injured in road accident in J-K's Poonch

Poonch, Feb 01: At least two persons were killed and two others critically injured in a road accident in the Jandrola area of Mandi tehsil in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, officials said.

The deceased have been identified as Kulbir Singh, a resident of Jarnaili Mohalla, Poonch, and Chander Singh of Kamsar, Poonch.

According to sources, an Alto car travelling from Mandi towards Jandrola skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge, resulting in the death of two occupants on the spot, while two others sustained serious injuries.

The injured were immediately shifted to the district hospital for treatment. Their condition is stated to be critical.
