Two bodies recovered from well in Budgam; searches on for third person

Srinagar, May 29: Two bodies were recovered from the well in Budgam on Wednesday evening while the search for the third person is going on, reports said.

They had slipped into a well earlier today in Gotipora village of Budgam district.

Quoting an official, news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that the two bodies have been recovered while efforts are on to find the third one.

This brings the total number of people who have died in similar incidents by falling into wells today to four in Kashmir. A similar incident was reported today from north Kashmir’s Kupwara, where five persons fell into a well; two lost their lives, and three were hospitalized.
