Locals said the District Hospital Ganderbal is already overcrowded, forcing many parents to seek treatment from private paediatricians—an expense unaffordable for economically weaker families. They said the availability of a dedicated paediatric doctor at PHC Tulmulla, particularly during night hours, would ensure timely care for newborns and children while reducing patient load on the district hospital.
Residents appealed for immediate intervention, saying the community has been facing this healthcare gap for a long.
