New Delhi, Oct 13: US President Donald Trump’s address to the Israeli Knesset on Monday afternoon was briefly interrupted when opposition lawmaker Ofer Cassif held up a placard reading “Recognise Palestine.”

The protest sparked loud disapproval from several members of parliament, prompting Speaker Amir Ohana to call for order.
Security personnel quickly escorted Cassif out of the chamber as the commotion subsided. Resuming his speech after the brief interruption, Trump remarked that the response was “very efficient,” drawing some laughter from the audience.
