Tributes paid to spiritual figure Zuba Soab

Charar-i-Sharif, June 24: The Markzi Adab Wa Saqafat paid tributes to Zuba Soab, on the 4-th day of her demise at Charar-i-Sharif.

General Secretary of the organisation Inayat Gul led the proceedings.

On June 21, thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of Kashmir’s renowned spiritual figure Zubaida Begum, popularly known as Zuba Soab, at Charar-i-Sharief in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Today the condolence meeting was held at her graveyard in Alamdar Alam Kot Charar-i-Sharif, which was attended by esteemed personalities of the areas besides a multitude of devotees from various corners of Kashmir, and scholars alike.

Zub Soab was a renowned figure in Sufi circles and was remembered with deep reverence.

Known for her spiritual journey spanning over five decades, she attracted thousands of followers who joined her in the path of divine devotion.

In her pursuit of spiritual enlightenment, Zub Soab relinquished worldly pursuits and embraced a life of simplicity and piety. She was revered for her wisdom and guidance.

Members of the Markzi Adab Wa Saqafat extended their condolences to her family and followers, praying for her soul to rest in eternal peace. They also beseeched Allah for strength and patience for the bereaved family during this difficult time.

Prominent speakers at the event, including Maulvi Gulzar Ahmed, Maulvi Shabbir Ahmed, Maulvi Abdul Ghani Watarhail, and others, highlighted the exemplary life of Zuba Soab underscoring her spiritual legacy and profound impact on the community.

The gathering concluded with prayers for her elevated status in the hereafter and for perpetual blessings upon her soul.
