Tributes paid to Dhangri terror attack victims on Ist anniversary
Rajouri, Jan 1: Floral tributes were on Monday paid to terror attack victims of Dhangri village on the first anniversary of attack.
Locals organised a programme on the spot, where terrorists had attacked houses of minority community on January 1 last year. Seven people lost their lives while 13 others were injured in the incident.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, Senior Superintendent of Police Amritpal Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajeev Khajuria and other officers of civil and police administration alongwith social, political leaders and hundreds of locals attended the programme .Tributes were paid to all seven persons, killed in the attack. The were Deepak Sharma and his younger brother Prince Sharma, Pritam Lal and his son Shishu Pal, Satish Kumar, Samiska and her cousin brother Vihaan.
The participants paid floral tributes to all the victims and also observed a two minutes silence in their memory.
Officers of administration while interacting with villagers as well as members of victim families assured all possible assistance for the families in all aspects besides construction of a memorial in honour of victims of last years' terror attack.
