TRC grenade attack: IGP visits injured civillians
Srinagar, Nov 03: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Saturday visited the injured civilians at a city hospital after a grenade attack in Srinagar injured at least 12.
All the injured are in a stable condition.
The IGP wished the victims a speedy recovery and said that action would be taken against the attackers.
The injured have been identified as Misba (17), D/o Mohammad Amin Tantry, R/o Nowgam; Azaan Kaloo (17), S/o Javaid Ahmad Kaloo, R/o Noorbagh; Habibullah Rather (50), S/o Abdul Jabbar, R/o Kaloosa, Bandipora; Altaf Ahmad Seer (21), S/o Abdul Rashid, R/o Amshipora, Shopian; Faizal Ahmad (16), S/o Fayaz Ahmad Beig, R/o Khaniyar; Umer Farooq S/o Farooq Ahmad Bhat, R/o Pattan, with a left-hand injury; Faizan Mushtaq (20), S/o Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, R/o Pampore; Zahid (19), S/o Gulzar Ahmad Wani, R/o Checkpora Kalan, Nowgam; Ghulam Muhammad Sofi (55), S/o Ghulam Ahmad, R/o Chattabal; and Sumaiya Jan(45), W/o Zubair Ahmad Lone, R/o Naidkadal, Sumbal.
The grenade attack comes a day after a terrorist was killed and four security personnel injured in a gunfight in the Khanyar locality of Srinagar.
