Training for Anganwadi workers conducted

Anantnag, Nov 25: A three-day training programme for Anganwadi workers was inaugurated today at the Town Hall, Anantnag, under the theme ‘Poshan Bhi, Padhai Bhi.’

The programme, aimed at strengthening the Poshan project in the district, was launched by Sandeep Singh Bali, the District Programme Officer (DPO) for Poshan, Anantnag, and the Joint Director of Mission Poshan, J&K.

During the inauguration, the DPO and Joint Director interacted with the participating Anganwadi workers, stressing the importance of nutrition and the vital role of this training in enhancing the delivery of Poshan services.

They encouraged the workers to approach the training with dedication and enthusiasm to contribute effectively to the health and well-being of children and women in the region.

The training focused on aspects such as Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE).
