Traffic on Mughal Road suspended

Rajouri, Apr 13: Keeping in view unfavourable weather conditions, the authorities on Saturday ordered immediate suspension of the movement of vehicles on the Mughal Road.

The District Information Center (DIC) Poonch has also issued an advisory in this respect asking people not to move towards the road till further notice.

In an official statement, District Information Office (DIO) Poonch said that given fresh snowfall, and continuous inclement and unfavourable weather conditions, there would be no traffic movement on the Mughal Road from Sunday onwards till further notice.

The advisory has been issued by DIC Poonch after directions from the district administration.

In the advisory, the DIC Poonch advised the people to re-plan their journeys via the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway subject to traffic advisory by the concerned authority.
