Traffic movement remains suspended on Mughal Road

Rajouri, Dec 14: Movement of all kinds of vehicles on Mughal Road remained suspended for the third consecutive day on Friday as frost caused severe slippery conditions on the road.

Sub Divisional Magistrate Surankote Farooq Khan said that necessary snow clearance work was completed on Thursday evening but weather remained cloudy on Friday and Saturday and frost like conditions cause severe slip on road making it impossible for vehicles to ply on it.

"We kept the road closed for all kinds of vehicles on Friday and today on Saturday also," he said.

SDM further said that movement of vehicles could be allowed on Sunday but only if situation improves and especially slippery conditions.
