Srinagar, Nov 10: In view of the upcoming bye-elections for the 27-Budgam Assembly Constituency, the Traffic Police Rural Kashmir has issued a detailed traffic advisory to ensure smooth vehicular movement and hassle-free distribution and collection of poll materials.

According to the advisory issued by the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic Rural Kashmir, specific route plans have been framed for November 10 and 11, keeping in view the election-related logistics and movement of officials.

Under Route-01, on November 10, vehicular traffic from Beerwah, Nasrulla Pora, Soibugh, Bemina, Khumani Chowk, and Mirgund will follow the route Nasrullapora – Soibugh - Bemina - Khumani Chowk - Mirgund - Railway approach road Srinagar - New Bus Stand Budgam between 07:00 hours and 00:00 hours.

Under Route-02, on November 11, vehicular traffic from Main Chowk Budgam towards DC Office, Mirgund, Beerwah, and Bemina will move along the route Main Chowk Budgam - Railway Station Budgam - Reshipora - Beerwah - Sebdan - Bemina from 07:00 hours to 00:00 hours.

The advisory, issued by SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir Ravinder Pal Singh, urged the public to extend full cooperation to the traffic authorities for the successful conduct of the bye-elections. [KNT]
