Traffic disrupted due to landslide on Srinagar-Jammu NH
Ramban, Aug 20: Following rains and due to triggering of landslides and shooting stones, near tunnel T2, Nandni vehicular traffic movement was disrupted on down (Jammu bound) tube for some time on Srinagar Jammu National Highway on Wednesday morning,officials of NHAI informed.
They said following rains landslides and boulders hit the road near tunnel T2, Nandni due to which vehicular traffic on Jammu bound tube was disrupted for some time.
Officials of NHAI informed that later landslides and boulders were removed from the road and traffic was resumed on the down, Jammu bound tube near tunnel T2, Nandni.
Meanwhile, traffic authorities said Srinagar Jammu National Highway remained open for two-way traffic of light medium and heavy vehicles on Wednesday.
However , they said the traffic movement remained slow due to single lane road stretches between Nashri and Dalwas and between Maroog and Kishtwari Pathar sectors besides breakdown of few Heavy vehicles on National Highway 44, on Wednesday.
