Toyota Rumion now offers 6 airbags across all variants

Bangalore, Oct 1: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has enhanced the safety of its popular family MPV, the Toyota Rumion, by introducing six airbags across all variants. The upgrade includes dual front airbags, two side airbags, and two curtain shield airbags, providing comprehensive 360-degree protection for the driver and passengers.

In addition, the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is now available on the top V grade, continuously monitoring tyre pressure for improved safety, fuel efficiency, and convenience.

The Rumion blends style, space, and versatility. Its exterior features a premium chrome grille, projector headlamps, LED tail lamps, and dual-tone machined alloy wheels, while the interior offers a plush dual-tone cabin, flexible 60:40 split 2nd-row seats, reclining 3rd-row seats, and generous luggage space. The vehicle also includes 2nd and 3rd-row AC for passenger comfort.

Connectivity and convenience are enhanced through Toyota i-Connect, supporting smartwatch compatibility, voice assistant features, remote lock/unlock, climate control, and safety alerts. The 17.78 cm Smartplay Cast infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with steering-mounted controls and premium Arkamys audio, elevate the driving experience.

Powered by a 1.5L K-Series engine with NeoDrive, available in petrol and E-CNG options, the Rumion offers fuel efficiency up to 20.51 km/l (petrol) and 26.11 km/kg (CNG), with smooth 5MT and 6AT transmission choices.
