Digital Humanism Fellowship 2025–2026 in Austria | Fully Funded Research Opportunity in Vienna
The Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna is now accepting applications for the Digital Humanism Fellowship for the 2025–2026 academic year. This fully funded fellowship offers scholars and researchers the chance to carry out innovative studies focused on digital society and its impact. The program is supported by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Innovation, Mobility, and Infrastructure.
Fellows will receive a monthly stipend to cover travel, accommodation, living costs, health insurance, and related expenses:
€3,300 per month for those who have completed their PhD
€2,750 per month for current PhD students

Program Structure:
Senior Visiting Fellows: 1-month fellowship (by invitation only)
Junior Visiting Fellows: 3-month fellowship in Spring 2026 (open for application)

Currently enrolled in a doctoral program, or
Have completed a PhD within the last four years
