Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD)

The Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD) is inviting international scholars for a 3 month Visiting Fellowship in Ireland. This is offered to support the research activities of CSD. During the fellowship program in Europe, fellows will contribute to the research, teaching, seminars, conferences, and light administrative duties in CSD.

Scholars will have an option to select the fellowship period according to their availability. They can either choose the session from 1st September – 30th November or 1st February- 30th April. UCD research fellowship will provide a chance to work in state-of-the-art research center in Ireland. Fellows will gain international research experience and exposure to new findings.

Eligibility Criteria for CSD Visiting Fellowship in Dublin, Ireland 2025:

• Applicants must have a good publication and teaching record in fields related to CSD’s work (like development studies agronomy, gender studies, digital agriculture, rural sociology, political economy, or Information and communications technology for development etc.)
• Applicants can be Early career researchers and distinguished scholars up to 15 years post-PhD.

Eligibility Criteria of the Malaysian International Scholarship 2025:

1. Plan to pursue full-time postgraduate studies (Master’s/PhD) in Malaysia
2. Graduates of developing and under-developed countries can apply.
3. Age should not be more than 40 to 45 years at the time of application.
4. Master’s applicants should possess a CGPA of 3.0 or 2^ndclass upper honors degree.
5. PhD applicants should possess a CGPA of 3.0 or excellent academic results during the master’s degree.
6. English language proficiency is required.
7. The medium of instruction for a previously acquired degree should be in the English Language.
8. Write a research proposal with a minimum of 1000 words.

Singapore International Graduate Award 2026 (PHD Scholarship)

Singapore International Graduate Award 2026 is a merit-based award for all international students who have extraordinary academic records. SINGA program 2026 attracts the outstanding minds of the world to continue their PhD in the best institutions in Singapore.

The stay of the fellows under this Phd programme for four years allows them to explore the country from every aspect economic, educational, cultural, social, or political. They will get an insight into how Singapore has become a gateway to some of the emerging economies in the Asia Pacific region.

Eligibility Criteria of Singapore International Graduate Award 2026:

1. The applicants must be international students.
2. The applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree.
3. The applicants must have excellent academic results.
4. The applicant must be proficient in the English language.
5. SINGA needs no specific certificate for English Language Proficiency as it can be assessed during the interview. However, an English Language Certificate can be a requirement of the individual university.
6. The applicants who wish to apply for the master’s program are not eligible.
7. Only the candidates who want to pursue their Ph.D. in science and engineering are eligible.
