Toddler dies after drowning in North Kashmir's Bandipora

Srinagar, May 17: In a tragic incident, a three-year-old boy drowned on Saturday in North Kashmir's Bandipora district.

An official said that the child accidentally slipped and drowned in water. Despite efforts by locals to rescue him, he could not be saved.

The deceased has been identified as Muzamil Ahmed Kundoo, son of Irshad Ahmed Kundoo, a resident of Kulhama Bandipora, official said.

Cognisance of the incident has been taken, and further investigation started. (JKNS)
