Srinagar, Feb 4: Recognised as one of the world’s top freeride destinations, Gulmarg continues to attract passionate skiers and snowboarders seeking pristine powder and challenging terrain. In a significant step towards enhancing backcountry safety, international skiers are actively participating in avalanche education.
The initiative, highlighted by the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council on its social media handle, states that Gulmarg was an emerging hub of winter sports, stating that this was a significant step towards ensuring safety in the backcountry, reinforcing the importance of preparedness and responsible adventure.
