Three persons injured in Parimpora road accident

Srinagar, Oct 21: Three persons sustained injuries, two of them critically, after a motorcycle they were riding was hit by an unknown vehicle at Parimpora area of Srinagar on Tuesday evening.

Sources said the injured were immediately shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina for treatment, where doctors described the condition of two among them as critical.

Those injured have been identified as 22-year-old Adnan Labroo of Rampora Chattabal, who suffered multiple injuries and is stated to be in critical condition; 18-year-old Usman Mehraj of Bemina, who also suffered multiple injuries but is said to be stable; and another person whose identity could not be ascertained immediately. The third injured person is also reported to be in critical condition.

According to the statement of an attendant at the hospital, the victims were riding a motorcycle when they were hit by an unknown vehicle at Parimpora. Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to trace the vehicle involved. [KNT]
