Three people injured after their car falls into nallah along Sopore-Rafiabad road

Sopore, Aug 04: Three people were critically injured Sunday after the car they were travelling in fell into a nallah along the Sopore-Rafiabad road today morning.

Reports said that a car bearing registration no. JK05A-5398 skidded off the road and fell down into the nallah around 06 am, resulting in serious injuries to the people travelling in it.

The injured were taken to GMC Baramulla for treatment from where one of the injured identified as Sameer Ahmad Dar, 45, son of Mohammad Ramzan Dar, resident of Khwaja Gilgit Sopore was referred to SKIMS Srinagar for enhanced treatment.

The rest of the injured have been identified as Waseem Bashir Dar, 35, son of Bashir Ahmad Dar of Mahrajpora Sopore and Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir, 60, Son of Ghulam Nabi Mir of Checkroday Khan Sopore.

Meanwhile, police official also confirmed the road accident and said that they have registered case in this regard, further investigation set into motion, they said.
