Three of a family dead, one injured in Reasi road mishap

Rajouri, Jan 06: A husband-wife duo and their minor child died while one person was injured in a road accident at Chassana in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district.

The accident, officials said, took place on Saturday afternoon when a vehicle with registration number Jk01V 8022 on the way from Tulli towards Chassana fell into a deep gorge at near Zero Point Chassana.

In the accident, officials added, three persons died on the spot. They were identified as Zahid Ahmed(27), son of Abdul Kareem resident of Balmatkote Mahore, his wife Sayra Akhter (26) and their three month-old child.

The injured was identified as Irfan Ahmed (22) son of Abdul Rashid resident of Dewal Mahore who is seriously injured and was taken to PHC Gota for the treatment.
