Thousands attend Eid-e-Milad procession in Rajouri

Rajouri, Sep 17: Thousands of devotees on Tuesday participated in procession organised on Eid-e- Milad un Nabi (SAW) on Tuesday.

Eid-e_Milad was celebrated with religious zeal and enthusiasm in Rajouri district. The main procession was organised in main town Rajouri in which people from different parts participated.

It started from main bus stand of town and ended at Markazi Eid Gah after passing through different areas like City Chowk, Slaughter House, Abdullah Bridge, Gujjar Mandi chowk. Renowned religious scholars and Islamic preachers led this procession during which the participants raised religious slogans.

A religious congregation has also been organised at Markazi Eidgah in which a large number of people took part and renowned Islamic scholars delivered sermons during this event. Similar processions were organised by devotees in other parts of Rajouri districts.

On the other hand, Milad processions were organised at all towns and other rural areas of Poonch district. People in large numbers attended the processions while religious congregations were organised in most of the main Eidgah.
