People silently struggle and suffer from all kinds of terrible things. They suffer from depression, ambition, substance abuse, and pretension. They suffer from family tragedy, failing marriages, physical pain, and poverty. There is no end to suffering in case of a huge majority of our populace. People have accepted suffering as their fate. Most of us are focused on our own lives and easily forget to take a moment to think about what other people need. Since goodness and kindness are largely inherent in human kind, doing things for others is actually loved by people for their own satisfaction. Ironically, doing something nice for others isn’t only good for them; it can be good for us, too!

Propelled by the urge to do something for their less fortunate brethren, World Kindness Day was designated is an annual event that encourages individuals to practice kindness in their daily lives. It highlights the importance of empathy, understanding, and cooperation to create a more harmonious and caring world. In 2023, it falls on a Monday - the same day India is celebrating Deepavli , the festival of lights this season - providing an opportunity for people to start their week with acts of kindness and goodwill.
