Theft case solved in Rajouri | 7 stolen motorcycles recovered

Rajouri, Nov 27: Police in Rajouri has solved a case of theft. The persons involved in the incident have been arrested.

The stolen motorcycles have been recovered from the possessions of arrested accused persons. Police said that Syed Ibrar Hussain son of Sabar Hussain Shain lodged a written complaint before police that some unidentified persons have stolen his motorcycle bearing registration number JK11E 6764 from Kheora.

Accordingly, a case in FIR 528/2023 U/Ss 379 IPC was registered in Police Station Rajouri and investigation was started by a police team headed by SHO Aejaz Wani.

During investigation a suspect who happened to be juvenile (name withheld) was rounded up, who during interrogation confessed the commission of crime alonwith his one associate namely, Mohammad Saleem son of Mohd Yousuf resident of Saranoo.

Both the accused were arrested in the instant case after following due procedure of law, said police.

Police said so far on their disclosure seven motorcycles including the theft from Kheora, have been recovered and seized in the case.

Further investigation into the matter is going on and there is likelihood of more recoveries as investigation moves on.
