Terror module busted in Handwara: Police

Kupwara, Nov 30: A terror module was busted while two terrorist associates along with arms were arrested in a joint operation by Police, Army and CRPF, Police said on Thursday evening.
Police in a statement said "Handwara Police alongwith teams of Army and CRPF busted a militant module of LeT/TRF and recovered arms from Tutigund forest on disclosure of terrorist associates Parvaiz Ahmad Dar and Showkat Ahmad Shergujri, both residents of Tutigund Handwara."
"A case vide FIR number 264/2023 under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations taken up", the statement reads, adding more arrests and recoveries are expected in the case.
