Temporary charge of director assigned to Prof Binod Kumar Kanaujia

Srinagar, Oct 17: The Ministry of Education (MoE) Government of India, on Thursday assigned the temporary charge of Director National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar to Prof Binod Kumar Kanaujia, currently the Director of NIT Jalandhar.

The order has been issued in continuation of the MoE order issued on January 9 of 2024.

"The approval of the competent authority is hereby conveyed to assign the temporary charge of the post of Director NIT Srinagar," the order reads.

It further reads that Prof Binod Kumar Kanaujia will look after the additional charge with immediate effect in addition to his existing role and responsibilities for a period of six months or till the appointment of the regular director is made or till further orders "whichever is earlier."
