Tehsildar Baramulla suspended over unauthorised Patwari transfers

Baramulla, July 12: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa Friday placed Tehsildar Baramulla under suspension for issuing unauthorised transfer orders of Patwaris without the requisite approval from the competent authority.

The order issued by DC Baramulla reads, “The orders issued by Tehsildar Baramulla, vide No TB/N/58-63 dated July 10, 2024, have been rescinded. Further, the Tehsildar Baramulla is hereby placed under suspension and will remain attached in the office of the undersigned,” reads the order issued by DC Baramulla vide DCB/PS/6018-26 dated July 22, 2024.

The Tehsildar Kreeri, Muhammad Hussain Mir, has been directed to hold the additional charge of Tehsildar Baramulla alongside his current duties till further orders.
