Teenager killed in HMT accident

Srinagar, Mar 28:  A youth was killed after he was hit by a tipper at HMT area today evening

A police official said that the youth was identified as 18-year old Zubair Ali Sofi, son of Ghulam Mohammad Sofi, a resident of Hanjiveera Baramulla. Officials said he was critically injured after being hit by tipper at Hajibagh HMT. After the accident, he was rushed to SKIMS Bemina for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.

“FIR has been lodged in this regard and the tipper driver has been arrested. We have also seized the vehicle which was involved in the accident” said the police official.
